A role inquiry or other communication may involve a name, email address, phone number, availability, part-time interest, and the text of a question. SMS interactions may additionally involve consent choices, opt-out instructions, and help requests. Share only information appropriate to the purpose of the interaction you have chosen.
When an active communication service handles information, appropriate purposes include responding to questions, reviewing part-time interests, coordinating correspondence, and applying message preferences. Security needs and legal obligations can also require limited use. A scheduling preference should not be treated as permission to send marketing texts or as an employment commitment.
